Cara has been scribbling for a living since 2017. She first started as a freelance travel writer in Japan, then began to hone into UX writing when she moved to New York City in 2019.
Ever since 2019, Cara has worked in diverse industries, with Instagram, NBCUniversal, and PayPal being her most recent workhomes. Within UX writing, Cara is particularly passionate about localization and how UX writers can write in ways that make sense for audiences around the globe.
Recently, she joined PayPal as a senior content designer. Her main job is to rethink how everyday people can use Venmo in more aspects of their lives.
In her free time, Cara likes to go hiking and canoeing. She's hoping to represent USA in the Dragon Boat World Championships in 2025!
