The Design System team is looking for someone who excels at developing content but is also looking to grow. This is a broad role that will be responsible for the guidelines for all of the design system’s foundations, components, and patterns, as well as anything on the design system site. If you’ve ever wanted to help drive the redesign of a digital product, this is your chance, as we’re looking for this person to help power the vision for the site, which serves as the face of our product. You will get to work with hundreds of talented people within the Design System, UX, and Product Development – all of whom will read your work to help them craft and deliver amazing experiences to our hundreds of thousands of customers and tens of millions of users.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day:

• Voice of the Design System – You will be the voice of ADP’s Design System to our hundreds of designers and thousands of developers all working to craft and build an amazing set of cohesive experiences for our customers and end-users.
• UX Guidelines – Providing design system foundations, components, and patterns is just the beginning. You will partner with our designers to understand their intent and ensure everyone knows when and how to use them all.
• Website – If it’s on our website, it’s because you wrote it! This is the face of our product and you know how to make it work for everyone who uses it, including a complete redesign.
• Designer & Developer Enablement – We have a robust and powerful design system that is constantly evolving. You will partner with our experts to help craft content that empowers our product designers and developers so they can best leverage our design system to craft and build those amazing experiences. You are comfortable with the language of designers and developers and turning complex concepts into understandable guidance.
• External Communications –From release announcements to presentations, you will help make sure everything we put forth is professional, accurate, and easily digestible by all.
• Collaboration – You will work hand-in-hand with everyone in the design system – designers, developers, product managers, architects, and QA – as well as the researchers, designers, developers, and product managers developing a product.
• Iterate – You embrace the lean approach of getting content out quickly and iterating as we go. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment that loves to deliver value.
• Experience – You have 5+ years of experience as a UX content designer / UX writer for digital products. Some experience with technical writing or working closely with developers is needed to deliver content for our critical developer enablement initiative. Bonus points if you’ve written for a design system!

The targeted base salary range for this role is listed in the compensation section below. The actual salary may be above or below this range based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. In addition, this position may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses, equity, or commissions.

 Compensation Range for US Nevada residents: $67,800 – $102,980 / Year.

Compensation range for this role for U.S. Colorado Residents:

• Range minimum: $67,800
• Range maximum: $102,980
