Advanced Decision Vectors, LLC (ADV), established in 2009, provides superior program management, program support, strategic planning, and systems engineering to the Federal and Commercial sectors. Located in Alexandria, Virginia, ADV is a Small Disadvantaged Business contractor that has roots established in the Department of Defense and support agencies. The mission of the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) is to enhance the Nation’s capacity to assist crime victims and to provide leadership in changing attitudes, policies, and practices to promote justice and healing for all victims of crime. Through training and technical assistance (TTA), OVC works to enhance the field’s services to victims by providing timely, expert, coordinated, and data-driven responses.

OVC uses TTA to develop, enhance, and sustain quality services to crime victims through the delivery of TTA that addresses current and emerging issues in the victim services field. This is done through a variety of targeted TTA efforts aligned with specific grant programs or initiatives; targeted TTA projects such as the OVC Center for VOCA Administrators, the Tribal Financial Management Center, and the Human Trafficking Capacity Building Center; and through training and technical assistance offered through OVC’s Training and Technical Assistance Center. OVC supports these efforts through a combination of contracts and cooperative agreements.

The location of this work is hybrid (home/client office)

We are seeking a Web Content Manager to support this effort with the goal of:

  • building effective relationships among diverse TTA providers
  • enhancing communication and collaboration with diverse organizations
  • providing technical skills necessary to support the responsibilities described below

Responsibilities, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain responsibility for driving engagement in the criminal justice and victim services field
  • Apply knowledge of user experience and design, technical writing, and digital marketing strategies to create and distribute engaging and meaningful content that serves to build capacity and share knowledge, ultimately improving outcomes for victims
  • Lead the development and management of website content for a national-scale technical assistance project carried out on behalf of federal clients
  • Oversee and maintain responsibility for writing and recommending website content in collaboration with an internal team, contractors, and vendors. Work closely with federal partners to ensure that content is within guidelines and meets requirements

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience developing, writing and maintaining content for websites
  • Experience with web content management systems, including Drupal and WordPress
  • Experience with web analytics and related tools, including Google Analytics
  • Experience with working on teams, engaging with clients and external partners, and collaborating with contractors remote and in-person
  • Experience with coordinating technical aspects of web presentations and similar events
  • Knowledge of GPO Manual and AP Stylebook
  • Knowledge of creating and presenting accessible web content
  • Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance requirements
  • Experience with content management systems and Google Analytics (preferred)
  • Ability to develop, write, and review website content, following plain language best practices
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with working on national-scale projects and outreach
  • Knowledge of the victim services and criminal justice fields
  • Knowledge of effective outreach, community partnerships, and relationship development
  • Knowledge of methods for problem solving and solutions implementation
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tactics, and tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project leaders, clients, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate successful efforts to connect with multidisciplinary audiences
  • Solid organizational and written communication skills

Required Education:

  • BS desired, HS diploma or GED required
