Position is currently virtual but will eventually return to hybrid.

This position is responsible for generating ideas for and executing new content types for the agency and its clients, producing and maintaining content calendars, conducting interviews and other research on industry-related topics, and proofreading materials before publication.


  • Identifies clients’ needs and gaps in content and recommends new topics.
  • Researches industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
  • Writes clear short and long-form marketing copy to promote agency and client products/services such as, but not limited to, web pages, blogs, articles, white papers, ebooks, and infographics.
  • Coordinates with design teams to illustrate content as needed.
  • Conducts simple keyword research and uses SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
  • Ensures consistency and brand standards in tone and style across various clients.
  • Proofreads client materials for grammar and consistency.
  • Maintains content production calendars for client programs.
  • Supports account manager in program management of content-focused client accounts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field, and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: Marketing automation and reporting tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, and/or Marketo; CMS (WordPress); Google G-Suite; and Microsoft 365
  • Other skills required:
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally with clients, leadership, colleagues, and interview sources.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Familiarity with keyword placement and SEO.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology such as HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo; WordPress or other CMS; and Google Analytics preferred.
