The Amazon Delivery Experience design team is looking for a problem-solving, forward-thinking Principal UX Writer. Our team’s mission is to provide the best working experience for operations staff delivering billions of packages to customers every year. We’re looking for a UX Writer to bring comprehensive thinking to both big-vision and fast-execution projects. We work collaboratively with UX designers and researchers to understand customer behavior and needs, and define the customer experiences that meet them.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be joining the newly formed Amazon Delivery Experience (ADX) team, a 100+ person design team spanning Middle Mile, Last Mile, and more. As the most senior UX Writer on this new team, you will be responsible for setting the vision for the role of UX Writing in this new organization and working with design managers and the leadership team to make it happen.

Our is to create the most human-centered logistics organization in the world. Our team of UX writers, designers, and researchers, works collaboratively with our product partners to research customer behavior and needs, and create customer experiences that meet them. This includes systems across Last Mile, Middle Mile, and parts of the Amazon Shopping app. We work on a mix of mobile and desktop applications and in-vehicle experiences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $131,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $244,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
