With our growing vertical marketing team, we are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to develop and scale best-in-class, insight-led stories. This person is equal parts creative (developing compelling stories that ladder up to key marketing themes) and strategic (scaling stories through digital channels). This person will tell compelling stories directly to advertisers to help them make smarter decisions, ultimately leading them back to our solutions. This person will partner closely with sales enablement experts for tentpole events (e.g., Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday) on the vertical marketing team to understand their sales content/insight roadmaps. This person will pull out insights/nuggets from existing materials or commission new insights that make for compelling, editorial stories aligned to those roadmaps. This person will then work with channel experts to tell these stories across digital channels (such as, but not limited to, our website, blogs, virtual events/webinars, emails, YouTube, and social) and various formats (e.g., blog posts, keynotes, whitepapers, etc.), and will run tests to unlock new digital channels. This person will also work globally with country managers to tailor stories and channel strategies by country, as needed.
The right candidate is a creative B2B storyteller first with some familiarity with retail, tentpole events, digital advertising, and with using insights as a key differentiator in stories. The right candidate is customer-obsessed and metrics-driven, using audience insights and learnings from each piece of content to make the next more impactful. This person juggles multiple priorities, while keeping everything to a relentlessly high-quality bar. Since this is a new function, this role also offers the opportunity for the right candidate to be entrepreneurial, charting their own vision for how this role can best help customers.
