The Search Design team invents and simplifies the shopping experience for the world every day. We obsess over customer behavior and data to help us deliver customer innovation on a massive scale. We are building the product search experience of modern e-commerce with the goal of changing the way people shop. Our work impacts millions of people daily and is a critical part of Amazon’s global business.
We are looking for a UX Writer that enjoys solving hard problems at scale and can lead the team by bringing their very best to work every day. You will create the documentation for our internal design system, as well as build education courses and create content to assist our partners build search experiences within our technical design system and search architecture. Working directly in search, you will help create the UI and voice strategies for the main Amazon shopping experience. To accomplish all of this, you will work with design and technical leaders to determine what content needs to be created/edited/removed and then make it so.
