Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced, self-motivated content builder who possesses a unique balance of Financial Services industry knowledge, elite communication abilities, and strong interpersonal skills to join our Financial Services Content and Enablement team.

The Content Manager for Financial Services will enable the execution of content strategy, development, and distribution for our AWS Financial Services team. This includes working directly with Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Business Development, and Solutions Architects focused on Financial Services to (1) understand the concerns and objectives of AWS customers and (2) develop relevant content such as presentations, event sessions, training, websites, and videos for both internal and external consumption.

A content generation will also require direct interactions with AWS customers and partners to develop narratives related to their respective cloud journeys. Responsibilities include outreach and education of Marketing, Sales, and Business Development counterparts in other regions to effectively use these assets and deliver them to customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Working with AWS Financial Services leadership to manage and expand our customer reference and resource library, including executive presentations
  • Working with individuals from Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Business Development, Engineering, Compliance, and Security departments to develop relevant content
  • Enhance AWS communication mechanisms to drive awareness (both internally and externally) of AWS offerings and use cases related to Financial Services
  • Work with Marketing to maintain and improve AWS Financial Services' external communication channels, such as websites, email campaigns, blogs, whitepapers, and webinars
  • Coordinate directly with customers to develop and publish customer case studies
  • Attend relevant events and facilitate event speaking opportunities
  • Design and manage ongoing metrics and measurements of the program and customer progress

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in communications/content management
  • Relevant industry experience in a highly technical environment
  • Superior writing and editing skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Strong graphic design sense and attention to detail
  • A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations. Experience working successfully in a very fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Hands-on.
  • Experience in generating automated metrics to measure the success of communications/content management campaigns.
  • Understanding of cloud computing services/deployment architecture.
  • Experience with video editing and production
  • Familiarity with enterprise productivity tools, such as SharePoint, trouble ticketing systems, etc.
