Senior UX Writer

The Anywhere UX team is a quickly growing and constantly evolving team being positioned as a leader with vision in the company. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accessibility Designer to join our team and redefine the way people interact with real estate technology. The Senior UX Writer at Anywhere Real Estate will play a crucial role in improving the user experience across our digital products and services. This position requires a skilled writer with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to craft compelling, intuitive, and concise content that resonates with our diverse audience. As the voice of our products, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and Developers, to build cohesive and user-friendly interfaces that facilitate detailed interactions and elevate the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Develop and implement a consistent content strategy across all digital platforms, ensuring a unified voice and tone that aligns with Anywhere Real Estate's brand identity and values.
• User-Centered Content Creation: Build and optimize user-focused content for various digital touchpoints, including web, mobile apps, emails, notifications, and other interactive interfaces, with the goal of improving usability and guiding users through their journey.
• Collaborative Design Thinking: Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to conceptualize, prototype, and iterate on user interface designs, providing valuable insights and recommendations to improve content clarity and user comprehension.
• Conduct UX Writing Reviews: Review and provide feedback on UX writing from other team members, ensuring consistency, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines.
• Content Testing and Iteration: Conduct A/B tests and user research to gather insights and iterate on content, using data-driven approaches to optimize messaging and user engagement.
• Accessibility and Inclusivity: Champion accessibility and inclusivity principles in content creation, ensuring that all users, regardless of abilities or backgrounds, can optimally interact with our digital products.
• Content Governance: Establish content guidelines, maintain content libraries, and contribute to the evolution of our content style guide to drive consistency across all communication channels.
• Industry and User Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standard methodologies, and emerging UX writing techniques, incorporating insights from user research to continuously improve content strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, UX Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX writing, content strategy, or a similar role within a digital product environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work examples and proven experience in crafting intuitive, user-centric content for digital products.
• Proficiency in understanding user needs, product requirements, and business objectives to build impactful content solutions.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with an emphasis on clarity, consistency, and conciseness.
• Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid understanding of SEO standard methodologies and their application in content creation.
• Knowledge of real estate industry trends and user behaviors in the real estate space is a plus.
• Experience with content management systems and design tools is advantageous.
• A passion for crafting outstanding user experiences and an eagerness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and standard methodologies.

Compensation Range

$110,000 - $190,000 ; At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
