Title: Digital Content Strategist/UX Writer
Pay: $50/hr+
Location: 100% remote, EST hours, must sit in approved state (Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Kentucky, and Wisconsin)
Duration: 6 month contract to HIRE (must work on W2 without sponsorship)
Required Skills:
- Strong UX Writing background with short form and microcopy
- Understanding of search engine optimization and familiarity with digital content operations.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and other CMS platforms (Contentful) required.
- Experience with working in an agile environment.
- Previous experience working with external marketing agencies a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing - Cultivate digital marketing content targeted at driving traffic, engagement, generating leads, delivering sales, retaining customers, and building brand awareness. Work with internal and external collaborators and creative resources to deliver content assets that reflect the companies brand voice. Tests and implements innovative and relevant methods of measuring content, campaigns, and tools. Conducts competitor assessments and best practices and provides analysis in support of projects.
- Content Development - Often serves as the creative lead on content efforts to support company objectives. Performs content audits and gap analyses to ensure uniformity of content and its alignment with brand and business goals. Utilize analytics to monitor content and to develop reporting that shows performance against the plan. Researches and maintains a strong current knowledge of consumer and market trends and changing conditions to shift design and content focus accordingly.
- Project Management - Leads content projects focusing on content development, design, information architecture and user experience that aligns with the company's goals and client-centered approaches. May be responsible for creating and giving presentations in department meetings to propose new content ideas, discuss the progress of current campaigns and review the results of previous content campaigns. Monitors and maintains project budgets ensuring all projects are completed within budget constraints. Monitors and analyzes marketing expenses and sales promotions to determine overall cost-effectiveness.
- Collaboration - Works closely with design, user experience, line of business, and marketing teams to ensure adherence to company standards, specifications, and branding. Communicates with business segments to develop programs and ensure accuracy in all marketing and client-facing materials. Effectively manages the expectations of all audiences throughout company-sponsored communications. Values diverse inputs, voices, and perspectives to generate a more comprehensive and consumable output. Documents meeting notes and best practices in the JIRA boards. Documenting content guidelines.
