AppleCare Service Content provides the foundation for technicians to support our customers worldwide. We create training and reference materials to ensure customers have a world-class service experience whenever and wherever they need it.

These days, content rules, and you’re only as good as the content you are releasing. Developing a meaningful, long-term content roadmap is key to providing useful training and reference content to our global service audience.

AppleCare Service Content is searching for a Content Manager to oversee a portfolio of content to ensure it aligns with strategic designs during development and meets performance expectations after publication.

This position can be based on-site in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX.

Key Qualifications

  • 5 years of related work experience deploying content strategy with a team of content developers for a large organization
  • In-depth knowledge of Apple products and services
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the use of taxonomy/metadata/tagging for CMS
  • Keen understanding of the uses and strengths of a broad range of content types such as internet-based training, technical documentation, video, social media, etc.
  • Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills
  • Proven record of being able to envision a solution, its possible risks and interdependencies, and develop a plan for making it a reality

You will work closely with content strategists and content developers to ensure the strategy is understood and applied during the development cycle. You will also identify any gaps or opportunities with the content strategy and provide them to the content strategists to address.

As a member of the Strategic Content Design team, you will review content development proposals to ensure the content package will not only provide value to the service technician community but also do so efficiently, minimizing learner time.

A critical aspect of this role is managing the performance of your content portfolio: tracking key metrics, developing plans for improving content performance, and managing the lifecycle of content.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
