You’ll join a team of content producers, front-end developers, and a localization manager who are dedicated to creating outstanding web experiences for our growing number of partners across Services, including Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, and Apple TV.
In this role, you’ll help build clear and compelling web and email copy that helps partners deliver their content to Apple, use Apple-hosted tools, and grow their audience with Apple resources. Your work will help partners find the answers they need, when and where they need them.
Key Qualifications
- Strong editorial judgment and excellent copy-editing skills
- Ability to edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy
- Knowledge of a variety of style guides, including The Chicago Manual of Style
- Experience in working in content management systems, such as WordPress and Drupal
- Proficiency writing support-focused content (technical writing is a plus) and writing content for desktop and mobile
- Knowledge with email marketing standard methodologies
- Expertise working on global websites, translated into multiple languages
- Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS
- Flexible and adaptable to working on a broad range of projects
- Excellent communication, collaboration, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable giving and receiving editorial feedback
- Ability to balance multiple projects with varying deadlines
The ideal candidate for this role is an excellent copy editor with a strong editorial background, a curiosity about various media types, and a passion for crafting engaging and encouraging websites.
- Write and edit support content that’s easy to find, use, and understand while adhering to the Apple brand and voice.
- Edit email copy, including subject lines.
- Synthesize requests and feedback from multiple content collaborators.
- Work in a variety of content management systems to stage content for review.
- Complete thorough QA of content.
- Work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Provide editorial feedback to team members and content collaborators outside of the team.
- Work with content collaborators across operations, finance, product design, and marketing.
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven track record developing content for websites.
