Aquent’s client is looking for an experienced brand & content print designer who is ready to work remote with a dynamic retail team. This is a contract role, at 40 hours a week, for several months.
What you'll do:
The ideal candidate would need to be able to handle a heavy workload, be able to juggle incoming information and be able to apply it to the current project.
Learn, understand and correctly implement the company’s branding standards.
As well, the ideal candidate will have great communication skills, and should be an expert in the Adobe Suite (especially InDesign) and have a deep understanding of the printing process in order to be able to set files up correctly.
They must know how to work with complicated files that have multiple layers and they must be able to easily adaptable to learn our internal process.
Understand target audience and competitor activities in the market
Brainstorm ideas and concepts alongside other members of the creative team
Present initial ideas, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts
Understand the relationship between brand strategy and design
Support the senior members of the design team
What you'll need:
Online portfolio showing wide range of design work
Agency or in-house experience needed (2-3 years)
Experienced art directors also welcome to apply - developed design sense, total command of Creative Suite, branding, design, typography - fabulous personality and team player attitude needed!
