Our strategy to become more digitally focused has already seen the acquisition of two digital asset management companies to build on our existing digital capabilities from the Arcadis technology division, all of which will form the foundations of this new digital entity.

The Opportunity – Engage, Inform, Excite, Convert

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating compelling campaigns that cut through the noise; engaging, informing and exciting global audiences.

We’re looking for someone brimming with creativity, who is ready to get to know our customers better than they know themselves! You will be responsible for developing and executing a global content strategy that spans the end-to-end customer journey – content that engages prospects, converts leads and turns customers into advocates.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Global content strategy: ownership for Gen’s global content strategy - determining how content is used to full impact at every stage of the buyer journey. The Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the Brand and Lead Generation teams to design and deliver a content marketing strategy that supports all stages of the customer journey, from awareness to advocacy.
  • Content creation: conceptualizing and creating unique and effective content, to build brand equity and engagement. Research, write and edit a range of long and short form, multi-channel content that engages prospects, customers, and ecosystem partners, showcasing Gen’s products and solutions.
  • Customer insights: Build deep customer, market and product understanding to develop content that engages customers at every stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary teams within Gen and Arcadis to share ideas and co-create impactful content.

Key Deliverables:

  • Global content marketing strategy that supports all stages of the customer journey from awareness to advocacy.
  • Ensure Gen’s content represents the voice of the customer by building deep customer, market, and product knowledge.
  • Identify clear content goals and continuously measure and optimize content performance
  • Create a content development plan and editorial calendar based on strategic goals, business priorities, product launches, and other events.
  • Research, write and edit a range of long and short form, multi-channel content that engages prospects, customers, and ecosystem partners, showcasing Gen’s products and solutions.
  • Ensure all content is aligned to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Key Relationships, Collaborations and Connections:

  • This is a pivotal role within the growing Gen marketing domain. It reports directly into the Chief Marketing Officer and will be a key member of the Gen marketing leadership team. The Content Marketing Manager will lead a small team comprising a copywriter and two designers.
  • You will collaborate closely with the Brand and Lead Generation sub-domains within marketing as well as developing close relationships with colleagues across the Gen business, particularly in the Sales, CX, Products and Solutions domains.
  • You will also build strong relationships with regional and global marketing colleagues in the Arcadis core business to explore opportunities for collaboration.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have that magic mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and brilliant organizational skills. You will be juggling a lot of balls – and we are looking for someone who will not break a sweat. We are looking for someone with plenty of experience creating content for B2B audiences, for a SaaS or similar software company. Knowledge of digital asset management, infrastructure or the built environment would be highly advantageous.

Beyond that we are looking for someone who possesses:

  • Experience managing end to end global marketing campaigns and content programs
  • An interest in getting to know our customers – and creating content that they’re going to love
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to create content aligned to strategic objectives and in support of revenue goals
  • Experience creating content for global audiences
  • A thirst for experimentation – who will bring new, creative content ideas to Gen
  • Excellent command of English and an eye for great design

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with global marketing experience
