If this sounds like you, you may be the perfect candidate for the Brand & Content Marketing Team Lead position, reporting to the CMO, Mainframe Software Division (MSD).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of brand & content marketing professionals.
  • Accountable for strategic development and management of both internal/external brand communications and content marketing for the division.
  • Attract new contacts in target accounts and strengthen Mainframe Software Division’s position using new and proven digital and face-to-face strategies, content styles/formats and channels.
  • Oversee the creation of an editorial calendar to be used across Mainframe Software Division’s owned channels & maintain a promotional content library, partnering with cross-division teams to ensure new content is represented and old content is archived.
  • Oversee and enforce brand creative guidelines and communication standards for the division.
  • Elevate event content strategy and development processes.
  • Continuously evaluate content performance to analyze engagement trends and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Maintain governance over content marketing requests across the division.
  • Oversee budget and maintain accurate up to date spend.
  • Manage creative agency partners on various design deliverables.
  • Provide feedback and periodic reports to Executive stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

  • 12+ years of related marketing experience
  • At least 3 years of people management experience
  • Preferred -- A Bachelor’s degree, with concentration in Marketing or related field.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly skilled at crafting both long-form content and real-time content, along with distribution strategies and tactics for both digital and traditional channels.
  • Proven experience and familiarity with B2B content marketing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.
  • A deep understanding of traffic-driving mechanisms, including SEO, social, etc.
  • Ability to continually innovate, think strategically and orchestrate many moving parts
  • Extremely organized and process-oriented
  • Adaptable and calm in high-stress, tight deadline situations and patient in the face of changing priorities
  • 3-5 years Mainframe experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $93,000 - $155,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
