Job description

The Digital Content Specialist will review/create product and web content to ensure digital content compliance and functionality to enhance customer experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Specialist to join the Digital Marketing & eCommerce Team. As our team continues to expand, this position offers future opportunities to grow and add talent to the team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures existing product content meets Digital Marketing & eCom standards including but not limited to general and segment-specific site content, product enrichment, product imagery, digital media, and product attributes
  • Optimizes and audits new and existing digital content using best practices and company standards
  • Implement SEO best practices across companywide digital content
  • Copywrite unique, engaging, and informative content across eCommerce platforms utilizing PIM and CMS solutions 
  • Review published content for product categories and attribute accuracy throughout multiple segments and channels to meet compliance and governance standards
  • Assist in the development and builds SOPs for new processes to improve efficiency and quality of the work the team is producing while adhering to divisional goals

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Product Information Management (PIM) software inRiver or comparative PIM and data syndication provider experience
  • Strong understanding of how to categorize and attribute product listings specific to each marketplace channel to increase traffic and ranking across all channels
  • Understands channel-specific product content needs, requirements, and restrictions
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and writing skills
  • Talent for copywriting and proofreading
  • Previous experience of eCommerce copywriting with product specific and sitewide proofing for compliance
  • Possess a passion for improving efficiencies and enhancing customer experience
