As an UX Content Designer, you’ll partner with a cross-functional team of Product Designers, Product Managers, and Researchers to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for CDW’s users. You’ll speak to our audience through compelling and engaging copy and microcopy, helping our customers find the right products and solutions for their business needs.
Using qualitative research, A/B testing and analytics, you’ll determine what works best for our audiences and refine successful approaches. You’ll own the end-to-end UX content strategy process from ideation to execution across multiple projects and cross-functional product teams while establishing best-practices and developing standards for style, voice, and tone across CDW’s website and mobile app experiences.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Translate complicated concepts into clear, on-brand product copy
Elevate CDW brand voice across digital products by building empathy for targeted user groups
Act as primary UX Content subject matter expert and stakeholder across multiple product teams
Partner with Product and Marketing on naming and positioning of new products and features
Demonstrate a keen eye for detail while ensuring a consistent and cohesive narrative across every user journey
Proactively identify opportunities to A/B and User Test copy for maximum performance across differentiated user groups; execute user tests and independently synthesize results and work with our internal A/B testing team on prioritization and execution of A/B testing
Conduct regular analysis on content performance to identify areas for opportunity and present strategic initiatives and deliverables to internal stakeholders
Education And/or Experience Qualifications
6+ years of digital content-strategy and writing/editing experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Required Qualifications
Experience developing content strategies and writing content for both website and native app experiences
Experience in editorial, user experience (UX), or user interface (UI) writing and strategy
Experience working with user research and analyzing customer feedback to conceive/deliver online content changes and solutions
Experience using data and testing to inform content decisions and strategies; ability to synthesize findings and present final decisions to key stakeholders and executive-level leadership
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and conduct primary research
Experience conducting large-scale content audits and creating subsequent project flows to drive improvements
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of B2B digital copywriting/UX writing experience
5+ years of UX content strategy experience or equivalent user-focused digital content-strategy experience (B2B preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Figma (or similar design tools)
Experience with UserTesting.com or other qualitative research platforms
Experience conducting remote moderated and unmoderated content tests, card sorts, and tree tests
