Job description

As a Marketing Content Coordinator, you will support marketing projects by preparing internal and external communications (newsletters, social media, press releases, blogs, articles, etc.) and collateral materials. This position will support internal and external marketing plans, projects and deliverables.

This role will also focus on content management, marketing campaigns, event prep, and marketing collateral. Executing project-related tasks that may include management and reporting of data, processes, or financial tracking. As a team member, you will assist in preparation of marketing materials for speaking engagements, events, and industry meetings as well as organize and facilitate meetings. This role will provide an opportunity for you to collaborate cross-functionally and will help ensure you understand brand consistency across all projects and platforms as well as present opportunities for you to engage with multiple shareholders, and research market opportunities to align with marketing and executive brand goals.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education including:
  • At least 2 years of marketing work experience beyond education and directly related to duties of the job

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • At least 1 year of all aspects of communications specialties including updating/writing marketing collateral and campaigns, content management and or web content development or experience with landing pages
  • At least 6 months experience working with business-to-business verticals
  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare marketing, communications, or events within a matrixed organization
  • At least 6 months experience with creative and project management tools including Salesforce, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word

Expectations

  • Live in or near Kansas City or live in a Virtually approved city near a major airport
  • Ability to travel minimally with advanced notice likely to WHQ
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
