As a Senior Content Designer, you will manage strategy execution for a small or limited growth product; balance scrum team resources across features, defects, risk prevention and retirement of technical debt; prioritize the product roadmap, and decide when to release the new functionality, and translate market requirements into a product or component features. You will also own the product backlog, working through the product owner or directly with the scrum team to prioritize and clarify product requirements; execute product proof-of-concept and experimentation processes; and coordinate effective product partner validation processes. Finally, you will collaborate with stakeholders within the immediate organization to ensure the successful release of new or improved product functionalities and monitor and manage the product’s in-market performance throughout its lifecycle.

Working Environment

  • Hybrid & Onsite: No Relocation Assistance Offered

This position offers a Hybrid & Onsite working environment. Meaning you will split working time between a Cerner office or client site and remote. If your current geographical location requires relocating, Cerner will not offer relocation assistance to the specified location. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years of clinical content, product design, medical terminology and/or other healthcare information technology (HCIT) solution work experience
  • At least 6 years of additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Expectations

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within the scope of the position
