Join us in this innovative space. As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll work closely with partners in design, product, risk, and legal to develop terms, language, and ultimately guidelines for how we will communicate new payment methods to our customers.
Success in this role comes from understanding the customer and business needs, strong collaboration with peers, thoughtful planning and coordination across product development teams, and taming complexity for our users. Also key is participating in the end-to-end design practice, from upfront research, insights, and strategy, though to ideation, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
You’re expected to be a strong partner, involved in the prioritization, planning, and decisions leading to customer-facing language that is clear, instructive, and educational.

Responsibilities
Develop content requirements in partnership with Product Management and the Experience Design Lead
Incorporate different kinds of data (research findings, analytics) into content requirements
Contribute to the structural design of product experience (navigation, labeling, flow)
Lead adherence in content governance and approvals process
Use and actively contribute to content systems (standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility libraries)
Partner with Product Designers to develop wireframes and iterative prototypes
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Digital Communications & Media, Journalism, English,), certification from credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience
Self-directed in both planning and structuring your effort, and executing and expected levels of quality; you don’t need someone guiding you through the work
Prior work involves collaboration within design teams (with other Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Content Designers) and cross-functionally with Product Managers, and Software Engineers
Advanced skills in Content Strategy, UX Writing and Information Architecture; Intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, Interaction Design, and Visual UI Design
Thorough knowledge of English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage
Experience working with brand and copy standards, including style, voice and tone
Comfortable and confident when presenting work to crossfunctional Directors
Preferred qualifications
Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices
Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches
Familiarity with the organizational navigation required for content compliance, including legal and accessibility reviews
Demonstrated understanding of how content design connects with broader business value
