Here's what the job involves:

We are seeking a Content Strategist with experience communicating brand stories to join our collaborative team. Content strategists must be standout idea generators and problem-solvers with excellent communication and organizational skills. These strategy experts must have the analytical abilities necessary to gather key business and user insights, and apply their strategic planning skills to create a long-term vision for the content that’s generated.

In addition, they must have the ability to envision how content will be presented or distributed in formats other than text-based articles, such as infographics or multimedia presentations. Your job goes beyond the typical creative expectations. As a full-time employee at Circa, you will work closely with company founders, collaborate directly with design teams, and mentor a rotating roster of emerging talent through our fellowship program. You will be responsible for project management and strategic support for new and existing accounts, and often leaned on for process improvement and workflow optimizations for our growing company.


  • Brand Positioning (Mission, vision, values statements)
  • Value Propositions (Key differentiators, brand truths)
  • Copywriting (Ensuring messaging is consistent across online and offline channels)
  • Crafting differentiation strategy.
  • Analyzing consumer and competitor behavior in order to define positioning.
  • Analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Crafting great mission statements
  • Unearthing value propositions
  • Developing audience personas
  • Distilling and organizing services


  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Undergraduate or higher degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in a brand strategy
  • Stellar copywriting skills 
  • Passion for collaboration and teamwork
  • Astute communication skills
  • A portfolio that showcases brand-building projects
  • Proactive attitude and teachable spirit

Nice-to-have skills & expertise

  • Working knowledge of collaboration tools like Invision, GSuite, Sketch, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign
  • Brand Marketing and Brand Naming skills and experience
  • Experience in Google docs (Version history, revisions, collaboration)
  • Experience using InVision (Freehand collaboration)
