Cisco’s Customer Experience Design Group is looking for a Senior Content Designer to help reimagine how we deliver the lifecycle of customer experience across our entire portfolio of products. You'll develop a unique voice and a scalable content creation process for CX Cloud, our unified platform that delivers guided support expertise, business use cases, best practices, and technical insights to our customers and partners. 

Your Responsibilities 

  • Define and advance the content practice across Cisco’s CX group 
  • Define content guidelines and best practices, create systems that scale, and elevate the customer experience through writing 
  • Build a content strategy roadmap for our CX products that meets customer needs and business goals, and fosters alignment among internal stakeholders 
  • Design and implement content creation and governance workflows and tools to execute the content strategy 
  • Architect the vision for a cohesive content and navigation experience across CX products  
  • Mentor and direct the work of UX content writers 
  • Write and maintain UX copy for CX digital products, take accountability for content quality 
  • Most importantly, apply your passion for great storytelling, simplicity, and systems thinking 

Who You’ll Work With 

You will be part of an innovative experience design team responsible for reimagining the way customers and partners interact with Cisco. On a daily basis you’ll collaborate with product designers, product managers, marketing specialists, and engineers to craft content that educates, empowers, and supports our highly technical user base. 

Who You Are 

  • 6+ years of experience crafting digital content and microcopy for web sites and applications 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with an emphasis in communications, journalism, library sciences, human computer interaction, English, or other related field 
  • Ability to efficiently explain complex ideas 
  • Experience building and implementing content audits, content strategy recommendations, writing style guides, taxonomy efforts, and applied usability findings 
  • Proven ability to balance business needs with user experience 
  • Prior experience working with product design and development teams 
  • Experience scripting conversational UI and chatbots preferred
