We are seeking a Content Coordinator/Project Manager to manage content and communications for the development of a museum exhibition. This individual will work closely within a multidisciplinary content and design team to organize, maintain, and communicate content information to both project teams and clients; establish and maintain databases to catalog all content, graphics, media, and artifacts chosen for the exhibit; coordinate and track graphic production, and contribute to content research.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organizes, maintains, documents, and communicates content information to project team (2D and 3D designers) and client
  • Maintains databases, content project files, and other tracking spreadsheets with closely coordinated coding to catalog all content, script, graphics, media, and artifacts in the exhibit
  • Coordinates, receives and tracks image and artifact research from researchers
  • Tracks status of scriptwriting
  • Implements the project’s coding systems across multiple documentation materials
  • Responsible for coordinating and tracking image acquisition and graphic production
  • Contributes to content research in collaboration with Content Developers, sub-consultants, and the client
  • Provides administrative support, schedules meetings
  • Works on multiple aspects of the project concurrently and meets project deadlines
  • Participates in regular meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with database management and entry
  • Experience working collaboratively with a museum or design professionals
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working successfully both independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive approach to time and task management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace
  • Proficiency in Filemaker Pro (preferred but not required)
  • 2-3 years of administrative or project management experience, ideally in museums, cultural heritage, exhibit design, media production, or related field
  • BA or higher degree in Museum Studies, History, Anthropology, or other related fields in the humanities or cultural heritage (preferred but not required)
