Job description

The Content Specialist I duties include proposal template creation and maintenance within the content management database, interaction with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure accurate positioning of ERT products, and the management and completion of Request for Information (RFI) responses.

The Content Specialist I duties include proposal template creation and maintenance within the content management database, interaction with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to ensure accurate positioning of Clario products, and the management and completion of Request for Information (RFI) responses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and approve Templates and content taking into account the Proposal Manager team workflow.
  • Work with SMEs and Team Lead to create proposal content and templates and gain approval for a new language for unique requests/for products that have completed ORR and using provided language, create content/templates.
  • Utilizes internal and external RFI databases and portals to complete client RFIs.
  • Ensure completion of active RFI requests by managing workflow for SME input, leading calls to gain alignment, tracking the progress of RFIs, and completing an in-depth review of RFI responses from SMEs.
  • Completes maintenance of RFI and content databases ensuring that responses are up to date via SME review cycles and workflows.
  • Maintain an understanding of where RFIs are in the process and be able to identify blockers for delivery and effectively remove blockers if needed.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of all Clario’s product offerings including product integrations.
  • Ensure data integrity for reporting accuracy.
  • Competently prioritize tasks and manage own workload to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain awareness of internal SME team structure for input and clarification when needed.
  • Liaise and develop working relationships with Product, business development, sales specialists, internal and external teams, operational, and/or scientific teams when needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in meetings with the Sales Operations team and other departmental meetings as needed.
  • Ensure sharing and implementation of best practices across the team.
  • Act as a representative for the Company, ensuring Clario products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead projects to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Solicits feedback from others and is eager to find ways to improve.
  • Acts as an effective team member possessing a range of practical skills and demonstrates flexibility at all times by supporting team members and offering help on projects, workload, and/or with questions.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, influencing client and key stakeholder interactions to use Clario as a preferred supplier.
  • Provides other support and takes on other responsibilities as defined by the team lead or team management.
  • Proactively contribute to and suggest ways of improving Clario’s processes in the workplace.
  • Performs other duties, assignments or special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, English, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in a fast-paced, multi-task environment in relevant fields such as sales, proposals, content management, or budget development.
  • Exceptional computer skills (MS office suite minimum).
  • Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and under pressure, handling large volumes without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
  • Excellent judgment, strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with short timelines.
  • A pharmaceutical and/or CRO background is a significant plus.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as an individual contributor.
  • In-depth knowledge of operational working processes and impacts on the organization.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization and viewed as a team player.
