We’re looking for a brilliant content marketer to join our fully remote team as a Content Marketing Specialist. You’ll create a wide range of content designed to educate and impress enterprises that care about their employees’ growth, while also helping harness their talent pool to ensure successful products and services. This content will range from blog posts to case studies, and everything in between.

This role is an individual contributor role reporting to our Content Marketing Manager and will have a key role on our marketing team that directly impacts our awareness, demand gen, and branding results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Outlining, researching and composing a variety of engaging content with clear and quantifiable calls to action for all channels, including website content, blogs, infographics, webinars, articles, emails, and more. First and foremost you’re a writer and will be a heavy contributor
  • Expanding on our content and finding new ways to leverage and give it life...e.g. how can a whitepaper become a blog or a series of social posts, while still feeling fresh and vital?
  • Ensuring content is in the correct voice and optimized for full reach potential. Using data to personalize content for different audiences in a way that enhances their experience
  • Editing written content from external and internal contributors, covering everything from commercial campaigns to technical blog posts
  • Staying up to date on new and existing content tools and trends
  • Mentoring and training content specialists as needed
  • We want your experience to shine – sharing lessons learned around writing, editing, and content creation is a huge plus

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience writing in the B2B space, including knowledge of best practices with regard to marketing funnels.
  • Some experience (professional or personal) in technical subjects such as cloud, software, engineering, etc.
  • Top-notch, world-class writing and copy-editing skills (please be prepared to share writing samples). You’ll know best practices from standards such as AP, Chicago Manual of Style, etc., but also know when to break the rule to make your writing compelling.
  • Deadline-driven. Achieving great things means we work with a plan and we need to stick to our goals. Able to meet deadlines and communicate roadblocks.
  • Unafraid to make mistakes. You’ll be learning and working quickly. There’s no blame here – only progress.
  • Over communicative. We’re 100% distributed and need to stay aligned across all our internal marketing goals, plus company targets. Quick updates, questions, and chatter…all are needed for us to stay aligned.
  • Self-motivated and independent. With remote work comes less oversight. You get the freedom to manage your time while hitting your goals.
  • Excellent language and grammar skills. You know MLA but also break the rules.
