Job description

The Mid/Senior Digital Content Specialist is responsible for the management, implementation, and review of content and assets provided by the client. The role will require the ability to organize large amounts of content and other assets, including images and documents, and upload them in an orderly fashion. When loading content, the role will also need to use the latest web trends and have knowledge of how content affects Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The role is then responsible for the review of the websites and apps to ensure that a quality product is being delivered prior to launch. The role is responsible for documenting issues found during the quality check process and communicating back to the necessary team members to adjust and fix anything they find. This role is pivotal in the delivery of our top-of-the-line product and is an important part of our company’s product implementation process. 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Manage client-provided content and apply it to the website in a clean, consistent method
  • Ability to crop and resize imagery to fit into approved design layout and match imagery to the appropriate areas of the website
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure deadlines are met
  • Troubleshoot and root-cause website and app design-related issues
  • Employ and educate clients on best practices for web content & SEO
  • Review requirements, specifications and graphical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Conduct quality assurance checks of newly built websites, clearly documenting any issues found throughout and communicating them back to the appropriate team.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and project managers) to identify client requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with CSS and HTML Knowledge
  • Proficient skills using computers, tablets and mobile devices
  • Strong knowledge of software or website QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Attention to detail and ability to work through large-scale projects consistently
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and best practices
  • General understanding of Google Analytics
  • Proven work experience in software or website product quality assurance
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and other Adobe Products
  • Familiar with Bootstrap framework and Mobile-first design and development approach
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
