Our dedicated Consumer Experience & Growth team is full of passionate cross-functional individuals. We are seeking someone with high energy, positivity and eagerness who can help us lead change for our business. 

The Website Content Manager will drive outstanding experiences on our brand websites in North America to further build brand equities and drive commerce opportunities. You will develop, deploy and oversee execution of our website strategies and initiatives across all of our brands. This role is an exciting opportunity to help lead and run the evolution and growth of our owned digital presence for years to come.

This role will lead cross-functional resources including marketing teams, content management hub, global digital and IT teams and agencies to create best-in-class user experiences on our brand sites and enhance websites' effectiveness and performance. They will be the main point of contact for our global teams being responsible to elevate North America needs and interests to influence the global website strategy, while driving alignment. 

Responsibilities:

Own overall North America website strategy and roadmap that support business goals

  • Develop and lead the NA website strategic roadmap ; prioritize workstreams based on overall business priorities and resources available; drive visibility and buy-in with business leaders; lead relationship with global partners to drive alignment on priorities and resources allocations
  • Partner cross-functionally to deeply understand holistic user journey across the different touchpoints (including DTC and professional websites) and define the role of the websites in the ecosystem; align website strategies with broader business objectives and digital marketing initiatives, identify and execute user experience gaps to address 
  • Lead all aspects of the roadmap execution across brands by driving cross-functional team members’ input and accountability

Drive Website Content Optimization

  • Establish and be responsible for website content management workflow 
  • Orchestrate PDP content development by brand marketing business owner and management of deliverables with offshore content management hub.
  • Lead SEO strategy with agency partners and drive execution of the recommendations 
  • Provide strategic guidance on website user experience optimisation (navigation, webpage design, structure and functionality) 

Elevate measurement and analytics to optimize brand experiences:

  • Define and monitor website performance KPI and lead website reporting communication to continuously improve website performance and user experience
  • Develop learning agenda based on key goals and foster test and learning mindset
  • Keep a pulse on industry trends and best practices in website development, design, and user experience to benchmark our brand performance and opportunities

Budget management

  • As pertains to websites, lead agency discussions, management of website initiatives on time and within budget 
  • Own budget, invoicing and resource planning

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years prior experience in digital marketing and/or website management
  • Experience in website strategy and management
  • Strong understanding of website design, development, functional UX and UI experience, navigation, information architecture and functionality, in collaboration with IT departments 
  • Experience with SEO (Google Search Console, SEM Rush, Similarweb, BrightEdge), technical and website optimization techniques
  • Understanding of consumer journeys, brand digital marketing, content
  • Proficiency in website analytics tools, including GA/ Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager ; Experience in website analytics: must have experience with GA 360 and GA4
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to influence and work with cross-functional teams
  • High level of initiative, assertiveness and self-direction 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JIRA, SimilarWeb and Adobe Experience Manager CMS

Salary Range

$112,000 - $164,850 USD

Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
