The Content Studio divisions of Crain's Chicago Business and Crain's New York Business, are seeking for a Coordinator, Custom Content, to assist them in their daily operations.

Associate Manager will work closely and in tandem with both department heads on the following:

  • Management and support of sold-thru custom content program executions such as print and digital articles, special sections, content hubs, eblasts, webcasts, live events, and/or social media posts.

Responsibilities may include: development of timelines, trafficking and review of materials, collecting assets, estimating program costs, communicating information to other departments, working with vendors, routing for client approvals and preparing client recaps.

  • Be able to respond in an informed manner to salesforce, vendors, journalists, copyeditors, designers, event freelancers, etc. concerning ongoing initiatives.
  • Management of signature recognition programs (contact list creation, honoree notification, collecting assets, monitoring daily correspondence, trafficking assets, etc.)
  • Creation of sales collateral, as needed
  • Creation of client recaps including events, print and digital custom campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of work experience in a related field or similar skill-set practices
  • Strong project management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude, who is eager to take on independent projects and be open to learning new skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and PowerPoint

This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
