Our client, a global financial services company, is looking to hire a Creative Technical Writer for a 9-month hybrid contract role with the possibility to extend or convert to full-time. Onsite, Mon, Wed, and every other Friday.
The work is a mix of education and documentation, training internal employees on how to use things.
Technical writing experience is ideal but there is also higher level, simple language, direct statement writing involved for design principles (assisting with grammar and tone) so even education writing experience would suffice.
The Creative Technical Writer will work closely with designers to document the best practices they've created in simple and clear content for others to follow. Prior work experience working with interaction and visual designers is preferred.
The team is tasked with conducting a significant design refresh of digital applications. Your role will be to aid current writers and editors to document design decisions for the benefit of product designers and engineers to successfully apply a standard and consistent design language within their products. You will work closely with designers to document the best practices they've created in simple and clear content for others to follow. Prior work experience working with interaction and visual designers is preferred.
