Job description

They are reporting to the VP of eCommerce. This position is responsible for collaborating closely with the eCommerce team and Brand teams to develop an overarching digital content strategy related to Creative Home Idea’s brand/licenses, PR, media, influencers, and social media storylines. Once the strategy is developed and deployed, this person will execute against the strategy by overseeing the creation of written, photo, and video content that will be deployed and amplified across all eCommerce and digital marketing channels with the ultimate goal of driving overall brand awareness, organic traffic, and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Given the brand objectives and priorities, develops, deploys, and executes a cross-platform digital content strategy and calendar to support overarching goals.
  • Translates consumer insights and learnings into innovative and creative content ideas such as brand partnerships, experience activations, product demos, etc.
  • Works with the creative team/3rd parties, including writers, graphic designers, videographers, photographers, editors, and producers, to create and execute innovative and compelling digital content to build brand/license awareness and organic traffic
  • Ensures content is on-brand, consistent in voice, tone, look and feel
  • Develops standards, systems, and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, content retrieval, and content repurposing, including the real-time implementation of content strategies across our global marketing team
  • Collaborates with marketing to amplify content through various channels, including the website, blog, SEO, YouTube, social media, etc.
  • Manages analytics around content reach, engagement, website traffic, and new customer conversion to develop recommendations on content strategy and distribution

Qualifications and Relevant Experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing creative resources, freelancers, and production needs for campaigns and content projects
  • Strong strategic thinker and results-oriented executor
  • Extremely organized with attention to detail; proven project manager that can work across functions to accomplish goals
  • Strong understanding of SEO and keyword placement
  • Proficiency in popular content management systems
  • Creative thinker with a track record of being able to translate insights into vital consumer-facing communication pieces
  • Knowledge of photo and video production
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
