In this role, you’ll be joining the Platform product group in our UX Foundations team. This team creates the core experiences and building blocks that make up our platform-wide user experience and are the stewards for the development of shared standards, UX frameworks, and components. This includes our design system, dashboards and reporting, graph visualization and case management, global navigation, search, global messaging, and UI extensibility.

As a Sr. Product Content Strategist, you’ll develop and document content standards and best practices for our design system and UX frameworks for our industry-leading cybersecurity platform.

You’ll also be responsible for information architecture, templates, governance, and guidelines for documentation. And as part of our global, cross-functional UX team, you’ll be a collaborative partner with UX designers, UI/visual designers, UX researchers, UX writers, tech writers,  and engineers.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct audits of existing content and identify gaps and areas for improvement
  • Establish templates and governance for content best practices 
  • Collaborate with designers and writers on guidelines for user cases, interactions, accessibility, and localization for frameworks and components
  • Collaborate with all UX disciplines to run a living design system for primary use by design, engineering, writing, and QA, as well as contractors and outside partners
  • Increase the visibility and understanding of our design system and practices to the UX team and the wider product and engineering organization, including release notes and cross-team communications
  • Build out taxonomies for various areas of the console that require consistent and coherent naming conventions across the product
  • Create guidance and define strategies for in-app messaging, release notes, and integrating contextual help into the product console
  • Collaborate with tech writers for integration of support docs into a coherent product experience
  • Manage content lifecycle and workflows; define publication criteria and guidelines
  • Define content benchmarks and success criteria

What You'll Need

  • Portfolio demonstrating design system documentation and governance experience
  • Deep knowledge of Figma and other tools to create and maintain design libraries
  • Experience working on design systems used by iterative product teams
  • Understanding of design thinking,  iterative testing, and user research to inform design decisions

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in Ithaca - NY, New Jersey City - NJ, and Colorado, the salary range is $145,000 - $230,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
