As the Web Content Designer for Campaigns, you’ll collaborate closely with our Campaign team to create web experiences that exceed expectations through effective and clear copy. You’ll be an in-house expert on all things content, providing strategic direction to our Campaign teams for all of their web initiatives. Experience working with integrated campaigns is a huge plus.

You’ll be involved with campaign planning from the beginning, working to frame the customer problem and business objectives, proposing innovative content solutions, clearly articulating the rationale behind your recommendations, and then seeing them through to execution on the website.

You know the difference between content strategy and UX writing and do both well. You love words, and you understand that content can be a powerful vehicle for user experience. You have a passion and talent for distilling complex product and campaign ideas into content that resonates with a diverse audience, and use user stories to consider the full customer journey when crafting content.

You should be comfortable contributing strategic direction as part of a cross-functional web and design team and have a masterful understanding of content design best practices and tie them into your rationale when presenting your content. You should have experience fostering partnership and gaining alignment across collaborative design partners, stakeholders, and leadership to advocate for content and UX best practices.

What You’ll Do:

  • Plan, write, edit, test and improve content for campaign web initiatives.
  • Design, deliver and iterate on end-to-end experiences that achieve campaign and business objectives while creating exceptional experiences for our users.
  • Drive content design for campaign initiatives by articulating problems and user stories, proposing solutions, connecting the web, campaign, and design team, and improving the effectiveness of our campaigns across the website.
  • Contribute to campaign strategy, vision, and roadmaps.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional partners to build trust and increase the value of content design.
  • Create and maintain content guidelines and standards to inform voice, tone, and strategy
  • Advocate for diversity, accessibility, and inclusivity in all of your work.
  • Bring awareness to the importance of content design by presenting work that is iterative, research-based, data-informed, and focused on our customers’ needs.

What You’ll Need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or Creative Writing or 5+ years of professional experience in a web writing or content role
  • 2-5 years of experience writing short and long-form content for the web
  • A desire to work in a writing-first role
  • 2+ years of experience crafting customer journeys for integrated campaigns
  • Basic knowledge of UX/UI design and user-testing principles
  • 5+ years of experience interacting with and working closely with senior and executive leadership.
  • 2+ years of experience working with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, web content managers, and product owners
  • Understanding of IA and taxonomy best practices
  • Experience working with a B2B or SaaS product is a plus
