Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain internal and external documentation for technologies and tools used and created by the Core Interfaces & Data Services (CIDS) team.
  • Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
  • Work closely with engineering and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of documentation.
  • Ensure consistency of documentation style and organization with Facebook and industry standards.
  • Support marketing initiatives by creating design assets, technical literature, and other promotional content.
  • Support project management by helping generate progress reports, roadmap documentation, and operational summaries as needed.
  • Funnel and organize customer feedback regarding content design to help create actionable response plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in technical writing or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in writing, technical documentation, proofreading, and editing.
  • The ability to produce and organize content with a logical flow.
  • Experience with authoring tools such as XML, HTML, Markdown, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience meeting deadlines and handling competing priorities in a cross-functional organization.
