Position Pay Range:

This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

The Content Specialist will lead creation and coordination of the content of digital and traditional media marketing materials with a passion for building and managing web content that is highly engaging and captures the attention of the audience. You’ll make design recommendations that will improve the look and performance of the site and implement them. You will also write content for blog posts, marketing materials, email, & Internal Release Notes. You will also maintain and update daily content for the product operations team at Forte. In addition to content creation and publishing, the designer will be responsible for the mix of website design layout and blog writing for company's internal staff. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be experienced in designing websites on the WordPress platform as well as using WordPress plugins and custom HTML and CSS. You will also need experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and moving deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Write various forms of content to include newsletters and notifications regarding product, compliance, or other relevant information using marketing platforms such as MailChimp & WordPress
  • Coordinate communication dates with internal teams and manage content calendar
  • Bring latest industry ideas to create highly engaging communications in presentations, animations, dynamic user guides, social media, elevator pitches, email and more
  • Assume ownership on all assigned projects
  • Partner with a large number of internal teams (Product managers, Delivery leaders, customer success teams) to source and manage content
  • Work through complex product explanations with Subject Matter Experts to create communications for our internal/external users

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of content and copywriting experience
  • Demonstrate a passion for writing and storytelling and is proactive in creating conversations and seeking innovative ways to connect with customer base
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into simple, intuitive communications
  • 3+ years of experience with creating and publishing web content in Word Press
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
  • Must be able to provide portfolio links to assess design strengths and quality of content writing
  • Advanced command of English language, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong client focus and sound judgment
  • Experience working with copywriters and designers, digital and communications teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work well cross-functionally
  • High degree of professionalism, flexibility and relationship building skills
  • Self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as a team member
