CVS Health’s digital design team is looking for a skilled UX Content Strategist and writer capable of crafting strategies and content that help people manage their health care effectively.
Aetna Health, the primary digital experience for millions of Aetna members, is a personalized application that helps people understand and use their health benefits, find the right doctors and care for them, and take smarter and healthier actions. As a content strategist for Aetna Health, your primary responsibility is to take often complicated information and make it digestible, meaningful and actionable for people.
But you won’t do this alone. Your team will include gifted experience designers, researchers, accessibility specialists, architects and engineers, and product management and design operations. You’ll be responsible for shepherding content all the way from requirements gathering to publishing, developing subject matter expertise and critical professional partnerships along the way.
To be a successful Content Strategist at CVS Health, you’ll have clearly demonstrated writing and editing chops. You’ve probably worked on microcopy for web and native applications, and you understand the role that content plays in a digital product’s user experience. Along with the core competencies of content strategy, you also understand principles of UX design, user research and accessibility. And because we’re dedicated to empowering individuals to make better decisions in their health care, you may have experience presenting financial, clinical or insurance information to people in relevant and actionable ways.
You also understand the factors that drive feature prioritization – whether based on research, analytics, or business requirements. Your success here will require adaptability as well as a willingness to embrace the iterative spirit of Agile.
It’s important that you’re an enthusiastic, empathic and flexible person who enjoys a challenge, likes working on a team and can navigate a complex enterprise environment. You’ve got experience working with and communicating with cross-functional stakeholders, and you’re accountable for your work from start to finish.
Ideally, you’re also interested in contributing to the evolution of content strategy practices at CVS Health. You like optimizing processes, you’re a lifelong learner, and you can succinctly communicate the value of content and content strategy to your partners across the organization.
The most important prerequisite, however, is your passion for doing the right thing. With an audience of millions that grows every day, every decision you make will matter and your work will have an impact.
