Dentsu Media is seeking a Senior Web Content Editor to join our Consumer Experience and UX function. This role will work cross-functionally to implement and maintain high-volume, consumer-facing, conversion-focused websites, and e-commerce applications within a proprietary content management system. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience working with content management systems (e.g. WordPress or Drupal) building targeted experiences, data-driven transactional experiences, and e-commerce.

  • Compose, update, and maintain websites within a proprietary content management system
  • Plan, build, maintain, and optimize content architecture used within our targeted, data-driven transactional experiences and e-commerce flows.
  • Serving as a source of knowledge for best practices in content architecture and management.
  • Training new members of the Content Management Team
  • Articulate problems to responsible parties and participate in coming up with solutions
  • Question feasibility, scope and acceptance criteria on tickets submitted
  • Able to determine how tickets and publishes will affect one another and communicate to responsible parties accordingly
  • Educating other teams about the Content team’s capabilities, including how to engage our team.
  • Provide guidance to team members on ticket writing and creating clear acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a meaningful contributor to ideas, processes, and innovation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across the organization to provide Content Production perspective to potential solutions and communicate enhancements.
  • Asset and web component organization and management.
  • Perform site audits, peer reviews, and test components built to be utilized for content production.
  • Contribute to time estimation of projects and provide feedback on project readiness.
  • Maintaining and updating confluence/SharePoint document library.
  • Provide feedback on tools and processes to optimize workflow

Qualifications

  • Prior digital agency or consultancy experience.
  • Experience with tag managers (Google Tag Manager, Adobe DTM)
  • Experience working within one or more modern CMS environments (e.g. WordPress or Drupal) using modular, reusable components for building dynamic content. (Required)
  • Can determine where the root of a problem and ask the appropriate team for assistance—for example, distinguishing a front-end issue from a back-end issue.
  • A dependable problem-solver with an analytical mind and demonstrable applied experience with modern development standards and practices.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects; attention to detail is critical in this role
  • Ability to pick up someone else’s tasks with little to no issues
  • Complete competency using web browser developer tools to troubleshoot problems and test finished work.
  • Strong familiarity with standards-based, semantic and well-formed HTML 5 markup and CSS.
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON.
  • An ability to build and comprehend data table structure for use within database queries (Microsoft Excel experience strongly recommended).
  • Comfortable with using PDF editing software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat), and interactive prototyping tools (UX Pin).
  • Detail-oriented, communicative to stakeholders, and able to effectively manage time and priorities.
  • MS Office suite proficiency -- Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Google Docs proficiency – Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides
  • Experience using Project Management software tools (Workfront, Asana, Basecamp)
  • Experience working with UX prototyping software (UXPin, Invision, Balsamiq)
  • Experience with modular templating (e.g., Handlebars/Mustache, Nunjucks) in the context of content management.
  • Experience with interfacing content with web-based applications and services.
