Our department consists of graphic designers, content developers, social media specialists, advertising planners, PR gurus, event activators and more. We are responsible for shaping the image of Washington, DC as a top-notch destination for locals, visitors, and convention attendees to enjoy.
Destination DC (DDC) is looking for a Talented writer and editor to join our marketing and communications team dedicated to supporting and positioning Washington, DC as a premier global destination. The primary role of Content Specialist is to execute writing and editing projects as a key member of the creative services team, which includes members of DDC's creative and content teams and serves as an in-house agency in support of company-wide projects and initiatives. You will work on projects that may include writing, editing, and sending emails to various stakeholders, crafting pithy copy for event invitations, contributing content to Washington, DC's Official Visitors' Guide, and more. You will report directly to the Content Manager but will work closely with DDC's Senior Project Manager to execute content projects on time and in brief.
