This position is responsible for creating and revising manufacturing documentation in support of document standardization initiatives, engineering/R&D projects, and new product commercialization. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Review and revise documents and procedures including lot history records, manufacturing process instructions, test procedures, equipment binders, etc. to standardize manufacturing documentation.   
  • Assist in formatting and editing documents and procedures including lot history records, manufacturing process instructions, test procedures, equipment binders, etc. in support of new product commercialization, Operations and R&D Engineering projects.     
  • Assist in formatting and editing validation documentation (user requirements, test cases, etc.) for Operations software and enterprise application system projects such as MES (Camstar). 
  • Ensure compliance to applicable regulations to FDA, ISO, OSHA, etc.  
  • This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned. 

 Required Qualifications:  

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite  

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management systems (Ex: Agile PLM, Oracle Cloud PLM, etc.) 
  • Prior experience in medical device industry  

Experience and Education Requirements:  

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 0-2 years related experience. 

 Travel Required:  

  • Up to 25% 

 Functional Description:  

Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia, web-based publications and user sites; may produce content for embedded user assistance technology. Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users. May document engineering processes and specifications. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. 

Functional/Business Knowledge: 

Applies basic technical understanding with the knowledge to develop process and design experiments. Possesses theoretical knowledge, but is learning the industry and requirements of applied science. Understands organizational and functional processes and policies. 


Demonstrates potential for technical proficiency. Works on problems of basic scope in which analysis of situation or data requires a review of data factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. 


Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. 

Normally receives instructions on all work and work output it supervised. 

Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
