Key Purpose

We are looking for an experienced writer to join the Vitality Group global marketing team to focus specifically on crafting content and managing several LinkedIn executive profiles. 

Additional responsibilities may include updating our social media pages, responding to followers and tracking user engagement. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent thought leadership content writing skills and experience running multiple social media accounts and campaigns.

This role will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our marketing goals and company values.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

  • Write, edit and publish engaging content for various LinkedIn accounts
  • Collaborate with Discovery and Vitality Group social media teams
  • Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviours
  • Select appealing images and videos to complement text
  • Coordinate with internal teams to create ongoing, fresh content
  • Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
  • Apply advertising techniques to boost brand awareness
  • Respond to questions and comments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Experience using Sprout or another social media platform a plus

Education and Experience

Required:

  • 2- 3 years’ experience in ghostwriting c-suite thought leadership content
  • Proven work experience in social media or similar role
  • Hands-on experience using various social media platforms and tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Salesforce Social Studio, Hootsuite)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Familiarity with online paid advertising
  • Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • BSc or BA in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
  • Implementing SLA’s and OLA’s

 Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the health and life insurance space and/or corporate wellness programs
