UX Writer
Key responsibilities
Write clear and concise microcopy, error messages, tool tips, call-to-actions, links, transactional emails, help copy, and much more to help customers meet their goals.
Conduct routine content audit to ensure the communication across our digital product is consistent and cohesive with the product direction
Collaborate with UX researchers, product owners, UX designers and UI designers to deliver solutions for our customers.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience:
Working as a content strategist or UX writer in the eCommerce space.
Writing/editing content for mobile and web experiences.
Advocating SEO and accessibility best practices.
Designing with Figma or a similar program.
UX Researcher
Responsibilities include:
Support iterative design and development for complex applications and websites.
Coordinate with designers, developers, product managers, and analytics experts.
Deliver key data driven insights and recommended actions in a persuasive manner that influence client decisions and drive the decision making process
Mentor internal researcher and manage external research partners • Use site metrics to inform site/application/mobile design refreshes and redesigns.
Be a strong liaison between the Footlocker Data & analytics team and consumer research team
Craft and socialize research planning documents (research plans, screeners, moderator’s guides). • Design and field primary research – including moderation (UX testing, site intercept surveys, panel surveys, etc.).
Analyze data (quantitative and qualitative) and prepare multi-media (picture in picture video clips) key findings reports.
Promote and evangelize User Experience throughout the Footlocker organization, running workshops and informal “Lunch & Learns” as well as senior level briefings.
Play a central role in driving Footlocker’s data-driven design focus, optimizing the online/offline digital ecosystem, enhancing the transaction path, and building a user centric experience.
Generates actionable insights that serve as a catalyst for product innovation.
Stay abreast of key trends in the fields of human factors and user experience research.
Actively moderate– especially highly strategic sessions or sessions that allow experimentation with new techniques or where client loyalty is critical
Experience:
Experience managing large-global user experience research initiatives.
