Job description

What part will you play?

The Digital Content Coordinator reports directly to the Director, Content Management and will schedule content for multiple global digital signage networks. The Content Coordinator oversees the quality control, timely scheduling and delivery of digital content across these networks. Using several software platforms, the Coordinator will test, encode and schedule various types of digital content and verify that the programming is functional and correct for each client’s required specifications. The position is also required to archive expired content, maintain traffic forms for all updates and run Proof of Play reports. Must have the ability to multi-task, work in a team and communicate in a clear way with team members and clients. 

What will you be doing?

  • Learn and use a variety of digital signage software
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of new advertising/marketing spots for our clients on their networks
  • Encode/transcode various media files
  • Archive and organize content to create the company’s master digital library
  • Archive and organize Traffic Reports from clients. 
  • Work with client’s content partners to develop new material and seasonal programming
  • Work with our Technical Operations Center to update offline players across our networks. 
  • Generate Proof-Of-Play reports for clients
  • Ability to interface with clients at an executive level.

Physical Working Environment:

  • Remote, Office and possibly travel for client sites.

What do we require from you?  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite
  • Proven organizational and time management skills in order to work on a variety of concurrent projects in a time-sensitive environment
  • Creative Thinking: Experience generating innovative solutions to address client / company issues, presenting solutions clearly, enhancing existing ideas to maximize opportunities for clients, and supporting a creative, innovative environment.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • A strong technical aptitude to learn new systems
  • Attention to detail - A strong work ethic, initiative and follow-through
  • Proficiency in a wide variety of software platforms including MS Office, PhotoShop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.
  • Experience working with RSS/XML/JSON
  • Experience related to digital content and/or the broadcast industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of media/agency/advertising industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of programming HTML and Flash is a plus
  • Experience using various digital signage CMS systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of computers and computer networking - Local Area Networking
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Available to work off-hours and weekends as necessary.
  • Team Skills: Ability to create a cooperative atmosphere to foster teamwork; helps facilitate conversations so all points of view are considered, puts work, team or organizational goals ahead of individual issues, exhibits leadership skills and maintains diplomacy in pressure or conflict situations.
