As a Content Marketing Specialist, you will cooperate closely with the segment marketing communications manager and other content creators in the Buildings segment team in order to write, develop, produce and edit assets for target personas and buying groups through digital marketing channels such as the company website, blog pages, social media, search engines, emails etc. The content marketing specialist will work closely with various Eaton teams including art directors, UX experts, SEO experts, and paid media teams to devise appealing visuals, create grabby headlines and craft content to appeal to audiences across all digital channels.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Segment Marcom Manager within a dedicated SCRUM team to define a content marketing strategy and content creation plan for the Buildings segment
  • Working closely with other content creators, as well as SEO, UX, organic social media and paid media experts to align and ensure that content for digital channels is an essential part of integrated campaign content collections
  • Writing search-optimised content for all digital communication channels targeting different target audiences/personas
  • Being the main digital content marketing expert in the Buildings segment content creation team and consulting colleagues in the team, but also local country sales offices to ensure content resonates with and engages target audiences
  • Ensuring that a continuous testing approach is applied to the creation of content for all different digital channels
  • Tracking and understanding the performance of content marketing with local marketing teams and helping test and optimise local content marketing activities
  • Acting as social media community manager: managing social media groups for key target audiences of buildings segment, growing and nurturing communities actively.

Qualifications

Your essential skills we are looking for:

  • This is a graduate-level role for a candidate with a strong interest in and willingness to learn about digital content marketing.
  • A minimum bachelor-level degree with a postgraduate qualification in digital marketing or a related field preferred
  • Being a native English speaker
  • Good English copywriting skills
  • Having a strong interest and ability to grasp customers' digital behavior, journey and preferences
  • Being able to interact with people online and understand how customer trust works
  • Being able to present yourself authentically online
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvements and SCRUM methodology, as well as the LEAN approach, is a plus
  • Having strong written and oral communications skills
  • Good presentation skills and interpersonal skills
  • Being able to work in virtual teams in a matrix organization
