Get to Know Us:
At Ellis Porter PLC, our goal is to improve the immigration experience for employers and individuals so they can thrive in a smaller world. To do this, we have built a team of dedicated immigration professionals who believe passionately in the economic and cultural benefits that immigration provides to America, and who excel at providing our clients with refreshingly clear guidance, uniquely creative strategies, and remarkably responsive service, all with genuine empathy and a personal touch.
Immigration law is very complex and full of constant challenges, but the Ellis Porter team embraces the grind because we love what we do, and who we do it with, and we find great satisfaction in knowing that our work positively, and intimately, impacts our clients' lives and companies.
We are also very proud of (and protective of) our culture at Ellis Porter. It is not what you would expect from a typical law firm, because we are not a typical law firm. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We do not tolerate drama. We strive to create an inspiring, authentic, comfortable, and flexible work environment where you are respected, encouraged to bring your whole self to work and challenged to continue your growth as an immigration professional.
After the last four years of progressively restrictive and abruptly changing immigration policies, these are exciting days for Ellis Porter and our clients as we look ahead to many anticipated positive immigration policy changes under a new administration.
As Ellis Porter's Content Strategist, you will be creating a new role as a hybrid writer/content librarian for the Ellis Porter team, working directly with the Marketing Director, and the Ellis Porter team of highly knowledgeable attorneys and professionals. This role is for the person who likes to learn new things, engage with others, and is highly organized. Projects will range from creating quality blog content that is engaging and elevates our clients' understanding of immigration legal concepts; to developing and building a robust immigration knowledge base and help center that is meant to inform and educate prospects and clients.
If you are the type of person who has all your documents sorted into folders on your desktop, understands the value of SEO; but more importantly understands the quality of an organic lead over a paid lead; then this position might be for you. You will need to have internal interviewing skills to help mine content from the minds of our professionals, the ability to manage projects and people, and most importantly, you need to be able to quickly learn and deeply understand immigration topics, as this role is critical to the firm’s mission of providing creative and practical immigration legal guidance with remarkable clarity.
