Job description

The Content Manager will be responsible for overseeing, editing and developing written copy for a wide variety of channels, including the FE blog, SaaS magazine, press releases, external websites with whom we partner, social media channels, emails and more. In addition, responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on relevant performance metrics to ensure the team meet KPIs. 

The Content Manager will also spearhead the development of long-form White Papers and Mid-Year Reports which requires collaboration across teams to collect and interoperate key data, research relevant topics and create visually appealing and engaging content. The person should excel at writing clear, concise, compelling copy that is free from error, that compels readers to visit the FE website, and that ultimately results in leads entering our marketing funnel. The ability to meet deadlines, create copy quickly, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude is a must. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and edit work from freelancers and other team members who are delivering content;
  • Manage the content calendar and other content-related initiatives in the project management platform;
  • Report and oversee relevant performance metrics related to content and other marketing efforts;
  • Edit and write copy, including blogs, press releases, scripts, presentations, interviews, reports and more;
  • Meet assigned deadlines and KPIs;
  • Ensure content is on-brand and free from error;
  • Create content that drives reach, engagement, and growth (including MQLs and SQLs);
  • Social media content;
  • Email copy; and
  • Podcast pitching. 

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills;
  • Extreme attention to detail in both written and visual contexts; and
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with experience working across different teams or with subject matter experts to inform and produce content. 

Experience and Education:

  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation;
  • Degree in any discipline – Communications, Marketing or Technology a bonus;
  • Creative individual and enthusiastic self-starter focused on delivering results;
  • Proven ability to complete projects to high standards and in an appropriate and timely manner;
  • Knowledge of AP Style;
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or InDesign is a plus; and
  • Knowledge or experience writing about finance or related industries is a plus. 

This candidate must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Salary range USD $85k to $100k annual
