Job description

You will provide expertise in all areas related to content strategy, search engine optimization (SEO), web design, and website readability and usability of the Bank's public website. Partner with experts and content providers to manage the organization of content on the Bank's public website. Apply an overarching content strategy by ensuring sound content structure, establishing content governance, and monitoring search engine performance. You will report to the Manager, Digital Strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise to subject matter experts, content owners, and team members by analyzing and implementing content and search engine strategies, helping them understand content requirements, and implementing content solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop an overarching content strategy for the Bank's public website. Conduct content audits and inventories, manage content migrations and establish content governance based on industry trends and best practices. 
  • Develop and produce content for the Bank’s public website using a solid knowledge of standards and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of content management. Ensure quality, accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of all content types.
  • Monitor and benchmark the search engine optimization efforts of the Bank's public website. Implement strategies to improve the ranking and quality of the Bank's digital content in search engines. Support search engine marketing efforts.
  • Manage and maintain the Bank's public website by anticipating and assessing content needs. Create relevant titles, keywords, and schemas, develop and manage taxonomies, and implement metadata as part of overall information access and content management/workflow strategy.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience;

Experience: Five + years 

Knowledge Areas:

  • Digital Communications
  • Latest Technology Trends
  • Content Strategy 

Technical Skills:

  • Web Publishing – HTML, CSS
  • Content Management Systems
  • Information Architecture
