The Global Workplace Investing business is responsible for growing assets in the UK, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong and Multinational (offshore) defined contribution (DC) pensions markets through the development and distribution of both full service and investment-only DC products. Fidelity has been providing DC services to corporations since 1994. It is an area which remains a key strategic focus for the business and we continue to invest for the future. Currently, our largest market is the UK with c486 clients and c$54bn in assets under management and administration, the Workplace Investing business is a dynamic one with a number of functional teams across pension administration, member communications, proposition development, finance, client management and investments. The business has seen rapid growth over the past ten years following the expansion of our ESG within our investment platform, emphasis on Financial Wellness and wider financial service offerings.

 Fidelity also provides individuals with access, via their employer, to a wide range of tax-efficient savings vehicles to suit every level of financial sophistication. These include Invest@Work (access to Fidelity’s ISA and GIA), Share Dealing, SIPP, Stock Plan Services and ‘Fidelity Wealth’, our executive benefits portfolio management service for high net worth investors. 

Purpose of the Role 

The creation, preparation, collation and delivery of presentation materials, managing other content types as appropriate (i.e. infographics), online content and supporting events, which are part of the new and existing business with a focus on the UK and Multinational, but supporting global WI. The role will involve working alongside external agencies and client-facing teams within the Workplace Investing (Sales, Relationship, Service Delivery and Communications & Engagement) teams as well as working closely with a number of internal departments: Legal & Compliance, Propositions, Investment Proposition, Product and Administration teams as well as with Personal Investing, Stock Plan Services, external Benefit Consultants and clients.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Liaise with client-facing teams to build a stock of presentation material across investments, proposition, and servicing models
  • Production of new and existing business presentations (PowerPoint and online) for client-facing teams tailored to client’s needs
  • Manage relationship with external agencies to provide presentation content
  • Preparation of Relationship Director, Service Delivery and Communications & Engagement external meeting support material
  • Preparation of Consultant presentations for the Business Development Team.
  • Preparation of internal presentations for Senior Management to enable Business Development
  • Production of ad-hoc marketing materials, client due diligence reports, presentation materials and data analysis for new business enquiries.

Experience and Qualifications Required


  • Previous experience using Microsoft PowerPoint to a high level
  • Knowledge of other existing forms of presenting and other content types as appropriate (i.e. infographics)
  • Creative disposition
  • Strong communication skills - written and oral
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerate - ability to interpret and utilise statistical data
  • Ability to meet deadlines and use own initiative
  • An investigative and resourceful approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to identify Fidelity’s differentiating/competitive features
  • Ability to build close working relationships with other Fidelity departments

  • Computer literacy - excellent Excel, Word, and general IT skills


  • Some knowledge of investment funds and products
  • IMC, CII, or IAC qualifications preferred though not essential.
