Fintech Technical Writers work within teams that are composed of product management, engineers, data scientist, and product marketers to deliver a great customer experience. We believe in driving growth by building the most insightful software within the Beverage Alcohol industry. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining user documentation for internal and client-facing software. 

Essential Functions:

  • Own the content strategy within our online knowledge base with the goal of enabling users to easily find answers to their questions without relying on manual support processes.
  • Translates technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand, logically organized content
  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content, by working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
  • Create scripts for online tutorial videos
  • Create content in-app user guides/tutorials
  • Keep up to date with and applies emerging & current learning/documentation trends as well as standard methodologies

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience writing documentation related to SaaS software and/or technical processes
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to adhere to standards of plain language and be able to successfully convey complex information to readers at varying levels
  • Proactive work style and creative problem solver who can handle multiple projects, demonstrating a strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, and follow-through; commitment to continuous improvement and the elimination of performance variability
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements with a flexible and creative approach to brainstorming, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
