Our client is a growing and ambitious global fintech company with offices in London, Asia, Africa & the Middle East. The Content & SEO Strategist will be based out of their London offices which offer excellent views across London.
Are you an expert in content creation & strategy? We are looking for an experienced and creative content strategist who can get under the skin of consumers, creating highly engaging and exciting copy and content. You will understand the brand and tone of voice, you will know how to engage and what great copy looks like. If you can write great copy too this will be a big bonus!
The Content and SEO Specialist will be responsible for the development of a comprehensive global cross-channel content strategy, with a focus on the user or consumer journeys. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including content producers and digital marketing agencies. Focussing on customer acquisition and retention, you will get to know their customers' needs and create engaging, digestible and thought-provoking content. In addition to strategy and content creation, you will work closely with an SEO agency and report on organic search performance.
Research, plan and deliver highly effective content, that is on brand across a wide range of channels such as websites, organic social, paid media, and CRM
Set the strategy and lead on content strategy and organic SEO
Working with an agency to develop the global SEO Strategy focusing on organic performance
Evaluate, upgrade and recreate all existing content focusing on brand messaging and tone of voice
Work closely with CRM teams, understanding the importance of great content and flow of content
Conduct research and analysis
Work with internal and external content creators and producers, delivering clear briefs and providing strategic leadership
Ensure compliance and work within regulatory frameworks
Set objectives, work to KPI and report on the success of campaigns
Experience we are looking for:
A highly creative content strategist, specialist within B2C. Financial services /investments / markets or trading-related experience or knowledge would be a big bonus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience and expertise in content creation & content strategy
Great knowledge of brand values and tone of voice. An expert to pull together content and creative
Experience in managing relationships with marketing agencies
Highly Desirable skills:
Knowledge of the financial services industry/financial markets/investments/trading
Great Copywriting skills – short / long or both!
Knowledge of SEO and organic search for reporting
