Job description

As the Content Marketing Manager, you’ll work closely with the international Sales and Marketing team, leveraging inbound marketing strategies to build our brand and online presence. This role will be part of the SaaS strategic team, championing Foster Moore’s US expansion. As the master of our company-wide editorial calendar, you will ensure we have a strong share of voice in our core markets. Developing content strategies, growing an online community, and tracking that community’s growth will be paramount to the role.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Managing our editorial calendar and content creation.
  • Authoring great content for monthly releases in a variety of formats: blog, white papers, press releases etc.
  • Managing internal & external subject matter experts - editing, massaging and expanding on their authored content - then sourcing graphics and briefing multimedia creation as necessary to create compelling content.
  • Ownership of our social media platforms, content syndication and the creation of regular social media content.
  • Optimizing our website and digital platforms.
  • Work with external designers and writing teams to produce high-quality content.
  • Work with the Director of Marketing to co-create our ongoing content strategy.
  • In collaboration with the Sales and Marketing team, create, document and maintain our Buyer Personas, Customer Journey and core value propositions.
  • Own our Tone of voice documentation and champion quality content at Foster Moore.
  • Assist the sales team where needed with the creation, proofing and ideation of sales collateral.

To be successful in this unique opportunity, you will have:

  • A degree in marketing, journalism, communication, or equivalent working experience.
  • At least 2-5 years of industry experience in content marketing and copywriting.
  • Superior writing skills with a high level of proofing and editing skills (you will have already seen the errors in this ad!)
  • Ability to proactively create, source and enhance content across all levels of our organization and our users’ journeys. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experienced in SEO (both on-page and offsite) and leveraging Google Analytics.
  • Experience with email marketing, Adwords, Google Display Network and marketing automation tools would be ideal.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Hubspot or other Content Management Software.
  • Ability to predict audience preferences with an editorial mindset and create engaging compelling content.
  • Expertise in B2G and B2B social media platforms and forums.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
