FourKites, the world’s leading supply chain visibility platform, is looking for a detail-oriented, high-velocity and persuasive Content Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing Marketing team. 

The Content Marketing Manager will build brand awareness and drive revenue through high-impact content and messaging that showcases our market leadership, customer success and rapidly growing network. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that support demand generation, thought leadership and sales enablement functions across multiple channels and formats, including blogs, events and webinars, ebooks, case studies, video and more. Content team members play a critical role within the FourKites Marketing team by ensuring quality of all external-facing content and identifying opportunities to add value using industry and organizational expertise. The ideal candidate for this position is a high-velocity creative storyteller, voracious learner, detailed editor and great collaborator. 

Responsibilities:

Content Planning and Strategy

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Growth, Event Marketing and Sales to maintain complementary content plans that maximize impact and contribute to org-wide goals
  • Develop content plans to amplify customer success stories across multiple channels and formats
  • Leverage your knowledge of all things FourKites and expertise in content best practices to provide strategic direction on content creation to other members of the marketing team; translate project goals into well-defined and thoughtfully structured content deliverables 
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars, content production plans and update cadences
  • Work with Marketing Operations to measure and report on content effectiveness
  • Own content library and customer testimonial tracker

Content Production and Optimization 

  • Own content for the entire content lifecycle, including ideation, production process, updating, auditing and retirement
  • Manage agency and contractor work when necessary to produce quality content
  • Serve as copy editor and quality control for all external-facing materials, ensuring brand standards are met and identifying opportunities to add value whenever possible 
  • Keep up to date with current industry trends and topics to ensure content is relevant and engaging
  • Craft interesting, original, well-researched pieces to drive inbound traffic and nurture existing leads; including but not limited to blog posts, social media postings, infographics, emails, video or webinar scripts and other content as needed
  • Manage the production of customer, solution and industry marketing materials, including case studies, slides/presentations, sales enablement materials and content for trade shows and conferences
  • Work with third parties, such as partners, influencers, and analysts, in joint content programs
  • Optimize effectiveness of content by implementing best practices and testing strategies

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years experience in writing-focused marketing or communications roles
  • Excellent writing skills for long-form, short form and web content
  • Excellent communication, research and collaboration skills
  • Experience writing for enterprise software or supply chain/logistics industries a plus
  • Experience with web content management systems, marketing automation, and content production tools and systems a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn and a ‘get it done’ attitude required
